The health insurance requirements for foreigners seeking a limited stay permit or ITAS (Izin Tinggal Terbatas) include minimum coverage amounts. However, as you probably know, these details are not easily available, and we have not been able to find reliable relevant information on the Internet despite our best efforts.
That said, our own Cost of International Health Insurance Report 2023 indicates that, in 2022, Indonesia was ranked 32 of 71 in individual international private medical insurance (IPMI) premiums at USD 4,686, and 32 of 68 in family IPMI premiums at USD 12,785. You may also be pleased to know that expat health insurance typically costs less than IPMI.
