Do you offer insurance for local nationals | ||

Question: In this scenario, it would be recommended that you seek out an international medical insurance plan for your fiancée. This type of plan will be able to cover her in both Indonesia and Germany, and avoid the hassle of having to cancel coverage when she moves, or having to repeat waiting periods for certain treatments (Maternity). Some of the insurance companies that we work will offer coverage for local nationals. Even if you are living in your home country, you may still be seeking a medical plan which will be able to cover you in the best treatment centers and facilities. Unfortunately there are many countries where the local health plans are unable to provide the levels of cover that you and your fiancée require. For this reason companies such as Allianz, Bupa, IHI Danmark and Interglobal to name a few will process an application for a person residing in their home country. After your fiancée moves to Germany, she will be able to change the address on her policy by simply notifying the insurer. The coverage will continue unaffected, and your fiancée will continue to be covered in Indonesia, Germany or any other country she may visit in Europe and Southeast Asia. 2011-04-06 17:07:55 |
