Where to receive treatment – AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals
- AXA PPP have carefully selected a large number of hospitals
and health care facilities from all areas in the world, to be
part of their AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals.
- AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals offer direct settlement of
medical bills, with no need to submit a claim form. The
medical bill is directly settled between the insurer and the
hospital or health care facility.
- AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals will typically offer lower
out of pocket medical expenses.
- For ease of access to medical services, at a recognised
health care facility, it is highly recommended that all policy
holders receive their treatment at a hospital listed under the
AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals.
- Contact AXA PPP to find out which hospitals are listed
under the AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals or visit the AXA PPP
website to see a list of registered health care facilities.
Making a claim for Hospital Treatment
- Contact AXA PPP to confirm your policy benefits and limits
on your health insurance plan.
- Advise AXA PPP of your proposed treatment plan, as
prescribed by your treating doctor.
- AXA PPP may send a Medical Information Form if they require
further information.
- Both you and your treating doctor will need to complete and
sign the relevant sections of the Medical Information Form.
- AXA PPP authorizes your medical treatment (or denies
claim/requests further information).
- If you receive your medical treatment at a hospital listed
under the AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals, your medical bill
will be directly settled between the healthcare facility and
AXA PPP.
- If you receive your medical treatment outside of the AXA
PPP Directory then you will need to pay for your treatment and
submit a claim form. AXA PPP may be able to organise direct
settlement at a hospital outside the Director of Hospitals.

Making a claim for Emergency Treatment
- In the event of an emergency, you are not required to
pre-authorise your treatment before going to the emergency
department for medical, dental or other emergency health care
treatments.
- Give the hospital your membership card (if you are at a
hospital under the AXA PPP Director of Hospitals).
- You must contact* AXA PPP (or have someone call on behalf
of you) to advise of your medical condition and prescribed
treatments. Contact number for AXA PPP in a medical emergency

- AXA PPP will request further information from your doctor
if required. AXA PPP will authorise the prescribed treatment,
according to your policy benefits.
- If you receive treatment at a hospital listed under the AXA
PPP Directory of Hospitals, your medical bill will be directly
settled between the hospital and AXA PPP.
- If you receive medical treatment outside of the AXA PPP
Directory of Hospitals then you will usually need to pay for
your treatment and submit a claim form. AXA PPP may be able to
organise direct settlement at a hospital outside the Director

Making a claim for Outpatient Treatment
- After receiving outpatient treatment, you will normally be
required to pay for your treatment and submit a claim form.
- You may be able to have your medical bill directly settled,
when you receive your outpatient treatment at a health care
facility listed under the AXA PPP Directory of Hospitals.
- Some outpatient treatments will require a referral from
your treating doctor.
- Contact AXA PPP to confirm your policy benefits, limits on
your health insurance plan, or any other inquiries regarding
making a claim for outpatient treatment.
