Asia - Average cost of health insurance
In the 2016 Cost of Health Insurance Report, Asia is comprised of 19 countries that are among the most popular with expats in the region. In the 2016 report, Hong Kong takes top spot as the most expensive location for international health insurance with an average cost of USD 11,780. As was expected, China (USD 10,881) and Singapore (USD 10,452) take second and third spots, respectively. All together, the average spread of plans in Asia cover a range of USD 11,780 to USD 7,847.
When looking at the ranking of Asian countries in the 2016 report, countries rank between 2nd (Hong Kong) most expensive and 86th with the majority of plans falling around the middle of the ranking.
