Pacific Prime's First School in Namark, Laos
Pacific Prime first started working with Room to Read charity in 2010 and through our donation, a community in Laos were able to build a school, which was completed later on that year. The school is located in Namark, a small village in the Eastern section of the Bountay District.
Nemark Primary School currently has 152 students and 5 teachers. This school was vital to the community as children from 3 neighboring villages were seeking education. This school educates children from grade 1 to 5.
The building of this school means that children can learn throughout the year, including during the rainy season as a proper shelter has been provided. Pacific Prime also helped to equip the school with learning materials to help improve the quality of the childrens education.
