Here you can create an account so that you can save your information and quotes to check back on them quickly and easily the next time you use the tool. If you already have an account, simply click Login and enter your email and password. For new users, enter your email and password to register. You can also put your phone number on file as well if you wish. Once you create an account, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Below the orange Login button, there is a blue ‘Contact Me’ button you can use to speak directly with a sales person if you would prefer this option to using the online quotation tool. Enter your contact information and when is best to contact you, and our team will get back to you at a time that is convenient for you.
Main Interface
Back on the main screen, confirm that your details are correct at the top of the page. If you like, you can alter that information just by clicking on it. If there is another person that you would like to add to your insurance plan, please click “add person” and enter that person’s age and gender. You may enter details for up to 6 people here, but if there are more that you need to insure, don’t worry. Just let the sales person handling your inquiry know the number of people you need to insure and they will gladly assist you to make sure you receive an appropriate insurance plan.
Click the Options button on the right. This will bring up a more detailed menu that you can use to filter your search results. In the left column you can enter your name and contact details to ensure that our team knows how to contact you when you are ready to buy. Underneath these fields you can indicate whether you would like insurance that includes coverage inside the United States or not, what your nationality is, and what your primary country of residence is.
In the middle column, you can set your preferences for the minimum and maximum premiums and deductibles you are willing to accept on your insurance plan. Setting the premium range affects the price you pay on a monthly or yearly basis for your plan. Setting the deductible range affects the price you will have to pay each time you use your insurance.
From the top to the bottom of right-side column, you can first set the preferred currency for prices to be displayed in. US dollars, British pounds and Euros are your choices here. Next, you can change the preferences you have previously entered regarding the specific benefits you would like your plan to have. Finally, choose whether you want a plan that requires premiums to be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Once all your preferences are entered, click the search button and updated price quotes will appear below.
Digging into the results themselves, you can arrange them in a number of ways. Looking at the headings you can sort by, you can see Insurers, various benefits, and, of course, premiums. Sorting by insurer will show you plans sorted by name of insurance company in alphabetical order. Next to this, you can sort plans based on the benefit that you are most interested in. Select Outpatient, Maternity or Dental. All plans include Inpatient coverage, as well as Emergency Evacuation and Emergency Repatriation, so there is no need to select these tabs. Selecting the Premium tab will simply show you the plans that have the best premium prices based on your other preferences. If you will notice, to the right of the Premium tab, you can choose whether you want the prices to be displayed in US dollars, British pounds or Euros.
Once you have your display criteria laid out, it may be best for you to select the desired deductible for a plan. Again, this is the amount that you would have to pay to make a claim on your insurance plan, and having a higher deductible will lead to a lower premium. After you have selected the appropriate deductible, you can really begin to dig into the plans. Just click on the insurer logo for the plan, or the orange “Buy” button to bring up more information.
