Cost of International Health Insurance – 2018

Average cost of international health insurance in Europe for families

For families living in European countries, the average cost of international health insurance in 2018 ranges between USD 12,965 in the UK and USD 9,335 in Poland. This signifies a fairly wide range of USD 3,630 between countries, with the UK being ranked the 9th most expensive country for families while Poland is the second least costly country globally for international family health insurance.

Despite the fairly wide range in premiums, we'd like to emphasize one standout finding: as with last year, a number of countries share the same average family health insurance premium. For example, Austria, Italy, and Finland all have an average cost of USD 10,551. To learn why this has happened, be sure to download our report.
