Documents could be uploaded directly to the platform and then accessed with a QR code. No quarantine was required.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>For unvaccinated travelers,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> there were two travel options: the quarantine option and the no-quarantine option.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiembassy.com\/travel-to-thailand\/thailand-pass#:~:text=Unvaccinated%20travelers%20(No%20Quarantine)-,Your%20passport%20profile%20page,A%20medical%20insurance%20policy%20with%20at%20least%20USD%24%2010%2C000%20minimum%20coverage,-Unvaccinated%20travelers%20doing%20Alternate\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no quarantine for unvaccinated travelers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you had to provide proof of negative RT-PCR testing within 72 hours of travel, your passport profile, and proof of travel insurance with medical coverage for COVID-19.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiembassy.com\/travel-to-thailand\/thailand-pass#:~:text=Alternate%20Quarantine%20program-,Your%20passport%20profile%20page,A%20medical%20insurance%20policy%20with%20at%20least%20USD%24%2010%2C000%20minimum%20coverage,-Passport\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">alternative option for unvaccinated travelers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> allowed them to book an approved hotel in Thailand for five days. Thailand Pass required proof of the hotel booking and a PCR test scheduled upon arrival, as well as COVID-19 travel insurance and passport profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All travel insurance policies had to provide a minimum of USD $10,000 for COVID-19 treatment in Thailand.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Current Thailand Travel Requirements<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Thailand no longer uses the Thailand Pass system.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Proof of vaccination and COVID-19 coverage is no longer required for most travelers. If your home country requires a negative RT-PCR test to return home, then you must provide proof of travel insurance with medical coverage for COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although COVID-19 medical coverage is not required for all travelers, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiembassy.com\/travel-to-thailand\/thailand-travel-restrictions-2023#:~:text=Travel%20Insurance%20is%20still%20highly%20recommended%20when%20you%20travel%20to%20Thailand.\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">insurance is still recommended<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We\u2019ll cover tourist visa information below.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificprime.com\/blog\/best-travel-insurance-in-bangkok.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Travel insurance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with at least USD $10,000 in medical coverage for COVID-19 infection if your country requires a negative ATK or RT-PCR test to return home.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Address or Proof of Hotel Booking &#8211; you must provide the address of the location where you will be staying in Thailand. It may be a private residence if you are staying with family or friends. Otherwise, you will need to show proof that you have booked a hotel during your stay in Thailand.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Needs A Tourist Visa To Visit Thailand?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiembassy.com\/thailand-visa\/thailand-tourist-visa#:~:text=Visiting%20Thailand%20is,in%20their%20country.\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thailand\u2019s Visa requirements<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> depend on your home country\u2013 the country that issued your passport. Many travelers staying less than thirty days do not need a tourist visa to vacation in Thailand. If you are visiting Thailand for reasons other than leisure or vacation, you will need a visa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Many travelers who want to vacation in Thailand may be visa-exempt.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These travelers can enter Thailand and stay for up to the maximum time allotment with only their passport (Proof of exit ticket required).
