Pacific Prime is both proud and excited to announce that it has received the distinguished honor of being selected as a finalist in the Broker of the Year category for the 18th edition of the Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA). Highlighting the company's commitment to excellent customer service, as well as its focus on providing clients with revolutionary insurance tools, Pacific Prime's bid for Broker of the Year honors has been accepted and put forward into award contention by the renowned regional insurance industry media outlet Asia Insurance Review (AIR).
The Process
From approximately 500 entries for this year's awards, approximately 40 finalists have been selected across 14 different categories. The Broker of the Year category in particular has only 2 other finalists included alongside Pacific Prime: Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd and Unison Insurance Broking Services Pvt Ltd, both of which are based in India.
The panel of judges for the Awards is composed of 25 insurance industry luminaries from throughout Asia, as well as an additional 8 international judges. These judges represent various insurance companies, societies and other organizations, and each is a very accomplished professional in the field. Sales Manager Olivier Zeller met with the panel at face-to-face interviews on August 28th in Singapore to represent Pacific Prime. Afterwards, the judges released a statement saying that they “were impressed with the range of quality of this year's entries, and the passion and commitment of many of the finalists.”
The Asia Insurance Industry Awards themselves are taking place in Taipei, Taiwan on November 2nd, 2014 during the Gala Dinner opening of the 27th East Asian Insurance Congress. Noting the relevance of the AIIAs in the region since their establishment in 1997, Asia Insurance Review says of the Awards, “The AIIA has become a much sought-after mark of excellence and peer group endorsement for insurance players and professionals in the market.”
