Vaccinations

To obtain sufficient protection against diseases it is important to check what vaccinations are required or advised in the intended area of travel. This information is available via the World Health Organisation or the country's own Consulate.

It is important to obtain this information well in advance of traveling as protection may not be immediate.

Some international insurance companies do include cover for vaccinations but there will be limitations depending on the plan and the insurance provider.

If this benefit is included then it will normally cover vaccinatiosn for newborns, however the cover can also be subject to waiting periods and it is therefore important to get specific details from the insurance provider regarding the cover.
