IHI-Bupa Claims Assistance

Claims for travel health insurance with ihi Bupa are divided into hospital or emergency and outpatient services.

To make a claim with IHI Bupa Health insurance for:

Hospital or emergency

1. Contact the 24 hour Medical Centre to let them know you require treatment
   Call the Medical Centre phone line on +45 33 15 33 00 OR email emergency@ihi.com,
2. A guarantee of payment will be issued to the treating hospital

Outpatient

1. Receive treatment (ie dentist)

2. Pay for total cost of treatment up front

3. Fill in a claim form (within 90 days of treatment)

You will need to supply the following information:

1. Diagnosis
2. Type of treatment/service
3. Proof of payment ie receipt
4. Cost of each service ie consutlation, prescription medicines
5. Include copies of prescription if medicines were purchased

Send the claim form via MAIL or EMAIL

Mail:
Completed claim form with original receipts attached, and any other requested documents to:ihi Bupa, Palaegade 8, 1261 Copenhagen K, Denmark

Scan receipts and requested documentation, together with your claim form and email to: eclaim@ihi.com

* Your policy number needs to be displayed in the subject field of your email.

4. Bupa may request further information.

5. Bupa refunds the cost of treatment, up to limits on plan.
