Allianz Indonesia has been in operation since 1981. In 1989, PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia was created, offering general insurance products to local nationals within the country. Allianz Indonesia expanded its services in 1996, introducing PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia and offering life insurance products.
Many of Allianz Indonesia plans offer a cashless claims service within their large network of hospitals located throughout Indonesia, allowing prompt and ease of access to quality medical services.
Allianz Indonesia has grown considerably over the years and in 2010 it reached a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of IDR 5.6 trillion. Today Allianz Indonesia is present in 44 cities and 80 service centres and carries on the Alliaz Group motto, giving insurance solutions ‘from A to Z’. Allianz Indonesia is one of the leading insurers within its region with more than 1.8 million customers.
