When people get sick what does the government in Singapore offer them?
The public healthcare system in Singapore is divided into two coverage spheres, public and private. The public sphere is only eligible to Singaporean citizens. For expats, healthcare is offered through private health insurance. Singapore has a wide range of medical facilities and clinics available to citizens, residents and visitors. There are both public and private hospitals and clinics, and while the level of care is similar, the most efficient services are generally found at private hospitals. Can you offer emergency evacuation coverage in Taiwan and China?
Pacific Prime works with a number of leading health insurance companies which can offer substantial Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation benefits for foreigners visiting any area of the world. We can offer a number of Taiwan health insurance or Travel Health Insurance Plans, both of which can provide comprehensive medical coverage including Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation services. If you already have an International Health Insurance Plan, a Travel Health Insurance Plan covering only the duration of your stay in Taiwan would be a suitable option. A Travel Health Insurance Plan will typically cover medical expenses in the event of an accident or illness for a specific time frame; travel insurance which we offer is provided through IHI-BUPA, and will normally afford the policyholder with worldwide travel insurance coverage.
